Sharing the sonic signature of PMC’s larger studio monitors, the PMC-6 offers exceptional resolution, dynamics, and mix confidence at any listening level. At its core is a bespoke 6-inch long-throw bass driver with 20mm excursion, engineered to work seamlessly with PMC’s ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) bass-loading and Laminair™ airflow technology. This combination provides bass depth, headroom, and low distortion that outperforms many larger 8-inch monitors. High frequencies are handled by a 1-inch precision soft-dome tweeter with a shallow waveguide for wide, tonally consistent dispersion and precise imaging. Each driver is powered by dedicated 200W ultra-low-distortion Class-D amplification, managed by a sophisticated DSP engine that automatically optimizes performance for portrait or landscape placement. Configuration is available via rear-panel controls or the browser-based SoundAlign™ network interface. The PMC-6 can be expanded into a full-range PMC-6 XBD system with a PMC subwoofer, extending low-frequency response down to 25Hz.
